Today is the Day – We are leaving. Said good-bye to Mateo and Julian, said good-bye to Jarno and Megan on Tuesday. It is a strange feeling when we are actually leaving – it is unreal and you question yourself – are we going to be alright? We will be heading North to Tobermory and take the ferry to Manitoulin Island on Friday morning.

So it is for real now. We said goodbye to the boys early this morning as they were heading to work and shed a couple of tears ( mostly me, I guess!!). I had to stop myself from repeating to tell them: Don’t forget this… remember to do that… and be careful not to…I still can’t imagine we be gone for a full year.
Now, clean the last bits and pieces in and around the house and finally leave.
